My addiction

It's true that you sometimes don't realize how much you love something until you can no longer do it. I realized last week that I am truely addicted to running. It's gone beyond the physical and health benefits you get. Now I run because I have to. Now that I've reached my 6 week mark I can run again! I went for a short jog last week and smiled the whole time. Cars passing by me probably thought I was a freak. There's just nothing like 70 degree weather and Bonjovi to cheer me up. As i was running today though, i felt something hit my foot. I looked behind me and almost said a bad word. Two dogs were chasing me and one was right on my heels. I don't know how I didn't see or hear them before (maybe Bonjovi was a little too loud). So I turned around and led them back to the nearest neighborhood so they didn't get hit by car because I hate when that happens. Anyway, after that I had another great run. It's so good to be back!

I wish I could be addicted to running again. I used to love it, but now I have no energy. You are amazing! I envy your energy.

I know the addiction! When my doctor restricted me from my work outs the last 3 months of my pregnancy I cried! It is the best feeling to get back.

Jill, we all think your shoes are beautiful and we are glad that you are back to looking better than most mothers 6 weeks after giving birth.... You are amazing and we all admire you so much that we almost resent you... (kidding of course)
BUT COULD YOU PLEASE POST SOME PICTURES OF YOUR ADORABLE CHILDREN INSTEAD OF SHOES!!! PLEASE!

Miss you guys!!!

Yeah! It is so great to get to that 6 week mark. I bet Jared is pretty happy about that too, if you know what I mean! Ha Ha

Welcome back to the addictive world of running. Run the Painter's 1/2 Marathon in January with me...(In sunny St. George). I'm serious. I'm going to e-mail you the link. We can make a fun-filled weekend out of it with our family's and head down there and enjoy a good run and good times.

One day, Jill, one day I will be just as excited to be a runner. It's coming, I can feel it.

Wow, I wish I had that motivation. I love Bon Jovi though, but I like to listen to him while I am in 90 degree weather laying out somewhere. Good to see you are doing so good:) Oh ya, Happy birthday Jared and happy birthday to you to Jill, I know its in a few days:)

If only I could be addicted to running! Yay for you! So glad that is such a great outlet for you.

Hey, how did you change the name of your blog (the address) and still keep your old posts/transfer them over? I want to do something similar. Hope you are doing great!

I think that it is a GREAT addiction to have. I would give anything to be able to run in Houston, but I can't STAND running in Humidity. I am starting to get the bug now that the weather is cooling down! GO JILL!!

I totally hear ya, you never know how good you have it until you can't do it anymore. I can't wait to go running again someday. Although when I actually can run again I will probably wish I had an excuse not to.
