A look at my life...

I went to a wedding today of a good friend who has been like a little brother to me since I can remember. While we were sitting there in the celestial room listening to the sealer, I had an insight to my life. I realized even more today how blessed I am. Not only to be living at this time, but to be this close to a temple, to have an eternal family, and to be in this stage of my life that I'm in. It really made me not want to get old because my life is so content right now. I'm so excited for what the future holds, but at the same time I would like this part of my life to stick around for a while. I realized that I need to do what I can to make it count. To be better in all aspects of my life: wife, mommy, daughter, sister, friend, neighbor, etc. Anyway, I feel refreshed. Thanks Luke and Hollie for lettting us be a part of your day!

It's funny because I think sometimes we look at babies and children and think, why are you whining...you have no idea how good you have it...and yet, I think that often the same can go for us. We all have wonderful aspects of our lives all around us and it is up to us to choose whether to dwell on the good and magnify those areas or to dwell on the hard and the bad. Thanks for the reminder!!!

It was so good to see you tonight! You truly look amazingly beautiful, pregnant and all! Take care, cutie!

It was so fun to see your cute new house! McKinlee and Parker played so good, I can't believe how "ALL BOY" Parker is. He cracks me up. I wished that we lived closer to they and we could play more often!

I love going to sealings for that reason. They always make me reflect on my own sealing and the words of inspiration and also on the things I can do better.
